What Punctuation Mark Are You? Tag, You're It!

I'm going to go ahead and say I was tagged by Julie, who just posted this and her deep disappointment in the results. [You don't have to actually tag me, Julie. I knew you meant to.] She'll likely retake the test, cheat, and discover she is exactly who she always wanted to be. But here's mine:

You Are a Colon

You are very orderly and fact driven.

You aren't concerned much with theories or dreams... only what's true or untrue.

You are brilliant and incredibly learned. Anything you know is well researched.

You like to make lists and sort through things step by step. You aren't subject to whim or emotions.

Your friends see you as a constant source of knowledge and advice.

(But they are a little sick of you being right all of the time!)

You excel in: Leadership positions

You get along best with: The Semi-Colon

This is crazy accurate, although much more flattering than what other people would say about me. Here's who I'm tagging: JennaB, AngelBee, dkt, Liz, Jamie, MusicMommy3, Jenni aka Mommy2MyBlessings, Lisa, and The Herd. If you comment here often, then yes you're the one I'm talking about. (Except for you Jenna, because you never comment here!)
Enjoy!

  1. I feel unworthy to be in the presence of such a brilliant and incredibly learned person. ;)

  3. I love your challenges--now here's mine--you have to visit my blog to see what I am:) HAHA!
I want to know how to find out what a comma is?

  4. I am a....colon - imagine that!!

How to you see the semi-colon description - I'd like to see who I get along best with.

  5. Lisa, I had a friend do this test and it showed this for semi-colon

    You Are a Semi-Colon

You are elegant, understated, and subtle in your communication.
You're very smart (and you know it), but you don't often showcase your brilliance.

Instead, you carefully construct your arguments, ideas, and theories รข€“ until they are bulletproof.
You see your words as an expression of yourself, and you are careful not to waste them.

Your friends see you as enlightened, logical, and shrewd.
(But what you're saying often goes right over their heads.)

    You excel in: The Arts

You get along best with: The Colon

  8. I'm so glad you posted that, Karen (the herd)! That is Kyle to a T! I knew he and I were the perfect couple. :)

    Liz,

Actually I was going to say that my best friends are also colons. hehe

  9. Hey Ginger,
That was fun. I posted my results over at my blog. So you can see them there. I would love to chat more but I need to go work on a Bible timeline with my son!

  10. I'm a dash! here's what it said about me:
You have many facets to your personality, and you connect them together well.
You have a ton of interests. While some of them are a bit offbeat, they all tie together well.

You friends rely on you to bring novelty and excitement to their lives.
(And while you're the most interesting person they know, they can't help feeling like they don't know you well.)

You excel in: Anything to do with money

You get along best with: the Exclamation Point

  12. Pedro--I am so glad you found your true personality--what a great one--a dash!! Maybe Kyle should put you to work with his flipping houses...since you are good with money:).

  14. You've peaked my interest, Melodie. Do tell-- how are we alike?

  15. I am a colon too Ginger! :)

  16. OK, Apparently personality tests with only five questions aren't very accurate. It says I'm a colon. Which we all know can't be true if Ginger is a colon.
Clearly, there was no correct answer for #2, because I don't like to argue even about things I'm passionate about. Also, I am NOT a leader.
Anyway, I can't post that on my blog if it doesn't reflect who I really am!

  17. I'd have to agree that Jaime you are not a colon--only on the argument that sisters are rarely the same!:) My DH took it a few times to determine really what he reflects. Those questions are funny...I didn't find the answer to mine with one of them: You plan on spending an evening alone watching a movie. What kind of film do you pick out for yourself? What happened to the romantic classic choice!!??

  18. I took it 3 times. I am a colon, a dash and an exclamation point! I'm also a person with split personality disorder because all of these descriptions actually do fit me!

On other personality tests I've taken, I've always been hard to peg. I've shown as an overlapper on many of these!

    Great fun!

  19. So, Krista, you don't know who you are, do you? Is there a personality profile called: Confused?

    LOL

  20. I took the challenge. :)

I am a question mark. Ginger could probably figure that out. I seem to follow here around asking questions and gathering wisdom! LOL

It does honestly fit me though. Who knew???

? is pretty cute.....don't you think?

    God bless...Angela

  21. I did the quiz. I am an exclamation point. No surprise there. hee hee
My husband and children would agree.

Thanks for the tag! It was fun. :)
