Guess who??Hint: This is the child who is most like me, both in looks and personality. She is a perfectionist, a good artist (actually that's not at all like me), and she's shy (that used to define me). She was a very easy baby. I did little more than nurse her, change her, and gawk at her the first several months. She is still a peaceful, compliant child. The kind of child I most feared. I didn't want to break her as I am much more confident in my ability to handle a strong-willed child like myself. In that way, we are not at all alike. Praise God for His mercy. :D

And, Karen, I've done lots of gawking with all my kids. Probably more with Liddy than with the other two, but this isn't Lydia. You knew that. ;)
I think I gawk at Matthew(my fourth) more than I did the others , so oops--but I still think it's Elena!

I knew it was Elena - my 2nd grandchild. I was so in awe of these glorious gifts - still am! Watching them enter the world is the highlight of my life!! It will be interesting to see if Elena outgrows her shyness as you did, if she develops the same love of reading that you have, and if she needs to be busy busy busy like you do and are. Love that pic of you holding her up - sheer joy!
