I've just ordered the book, Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends after reading so many good reviews. I'm eager to start reading to the kids and helping them put it into practice.
I'm Curious: What do you do to encourage sibling friendships?

We are so blessed that the authors of the book live in our town and they actually run a young ladies and young men group that encourages the things they teach in their book. Hope you really enjoy the book. Sarah also wrote another one about waiting on your prince charming that is so good for young ladies.
That book looks great! Let me know what you think about it. That is one of my greatest desires is to have my children really love and respect each other.
I have the book and need to reread it. =0) We talk alot about honoring each other at home. My teenage girls share a bedroom and have opposite personalities, interests, tastes, habits, etc. (of course) so at times there are a lot of conflicts. I always tell them that if they can learn to get along with their sister, they will have a very successful marriage. I have been having them serve each other (which I got from YOU) when they are hateful toward one another. I do seem them becoming friends with one another now that they are in youth group together and share friends. It's that roommate thing that drives them crazy. =0)
I need to read that book! My kids fight a lot!! Let me know if it is helpful. (or you could also write a book review and share things you have found helpful)
I LOVE THAT BOOK! We are reading it with our kids now. I also sit them down when there is a problem and flat tell them, that's not how it's done in this house. If your brother (or sister) has offended you you go to them.. and so forth and so on from Matthew.

Just received the book today. Skimming thru it, it looks fantastic!
Yes, I'll do a book review. Anything for you, Lis. :)
We just started the book this very night! I am praying that the Lord will use it mightily in our family. It is SO good.
