Book Review: Attack at the Arena (Imagination Station)

We are big fans of Adventures in Odyssey audio dramas, so I was excited to get this book for the kiddos. We all loved it. It has all the drama and intrigue we love in Adventures in Odyssey and the Christian integrity we trust. Attack at the Arena is the second book in the Imagination Station series, this historical ficton takes place in Rome. This is an a chapter book for 2nd-4th graders, but would also make fun family read-aloud.

I just heard about this series this past week! I was told it is like a Christian version of the Magic Tree House series, and I can't wait to get one. I just know Emily will love them! I'm glad to know your family likes them :)

Would you tell me why you like Adventures in Odyssey for your family?
I have always found them catrering to issues within public school, introducing ideas to my kids that they hadn't heard before and lots of sibling rivalry and family discord. Have I just heard the wrong ones?

Honestly, we've only listed to 2 or 3 of the CD collections, so perhaps we just haven't picked the ones that were about ps issues. We did hear one about a couple that was planning to divorce, but in the end they didn't. I don't have a problem with that. Sibling rivalry I also don't have too much of a problem with b/c it gives us a chance to talk about what the kids did wrong to cause the conflict. My kids always pick up on that stuff pretty quickly.
