Finally! After All This Waiting. . .

It's Splash Park time again! Ya-hoo! We've been waiting for a warm day when we could hit the splashgrounds, since it opens in May. Yesterday was in the low 80s, but the humidity made it feel hot. Good enough! We woke the babes up early from their naps, slid on our suits, and ran out the door.
They made a mad dash from the car to the water. No time to waste!

Isaac was soaked from head to toe within 3 minutes. His favorite spot is under the buckets.
My goodness, my kids are cheesy.

I'm so glad it's this time of year again!

Nothing like homeschooling to have the splash park all to yourselves! Looks like fun!

Good morning! I had to check your blog before starting my day!

Wow, that looks like a regular park. How nice that you got it all to yourself! I sure wish we had something like that around here, it gets SO hot during the summer and that would be perfect since I don't have to worry about the littles drowning!

Your little ones are simply adorable, I must say!

We have some places like that which will open up around Memorial Day. I can't wait to get back to it again too, but right now we are looking at highs around 60 degrees! Now if I can just get my almost 3 year old to enjoy it too...she does not like getting wet! Maybe this year will be different. :)

What a wonderful place! It gets extremely hot here (like 115 in the middle of summer) and we have nothing like that! All we have are water parks with giant slides, but they are too expensive to do regularly, even with family passes.

I want to print off your pictures and take them to the city council! I want one!

Faith,

Yes, it is a regular park. There's a playground right behind the splash park. I love it for the same reasons. No fear of drowning. :)

Momma,

I give you permission to lobby with my pics. ;)

We need to go to one of those parks again. Or we could just go to our property and play in the creek.
Looks like you guys had a blast!

Okay Ginger, I HAVE to ask...where did you get your girls' modest suits??? I have 2 four-year old girls that will be needing them!! Cathy (I still haven't figured out how to sign in!) sorry.

First of all, to sign in:
(assuming you don't have a Google account)
click Name/URL
type in your first name, forget the url. Click publish. :)

We got the suits at Fishskins.net, CWD Kids, and eBay. I did a search for UV swimsuits. HTH!

What fun! Kids love and enjoy water with such reckless abandon. Brings back memoris of how much I loved jumping in on hot day. Great pics; precious kiddos!
