We have a lot more in common than I would have imagined. I thought there were more of you that came here to argue with me. (And I'm not complaining; I enjoy controversy.)
Guess who??There have been lots of times in conversation with other moms when someone will mention a woman they know who has "a bunch of kids" (more than 4 and typically less than 8). I always say, with an incredulous look: "Six kids! Good grief! That's a lot of kids!" (Get it? Get it?? lol) )

I know who that precious girl is and I know where it is! Man I'm a good dad.
I "think" that it may be Elena but I really have no idea since I only "met" your sweet self about 2 years ago. And I must say that 6 kids isn't really that many kids but 7 must be a handful. ;) wink, wink, just kidding of course.

I had someone comment to me the other day that they could just show up at my house, sit down at my dinner table, and we would just pass the plate along never noticing that there is one more person at the table because we have so many already (I am preggy w/#7). I could not just let the comment slide by, I quickly and gently explained that we love each of our children as individuals and even though there are 6 of them, we know them each intimately.
It is so sad that people perceive more than 2 or 3 children as chaotic and unruly, and that the parents of course, cannot keep track. They have no idea what they are missing!
All of you who guessed Elena- you're right! Congrats!
That's Elena! And I was sad when there was no option on the survey for people like me :-(. Very like minded but not married yet, haven't adopted yet, haven't had kids yet, etc. What about US Ginger!?!?!?
