What I Think About the Octuplets

There's been an awful lot of debate over Ms. Suleman's octuplets and her so-called obsession with babies. I don't typically like to weigh in on popular stories like this one, but I've received several emails asking my opinion.

Since someone has already written my opinion, I'll just point you to it. Here ya go.

Bottom line: I believe this is another scheme of the enemy's to convince the world that children are a burden.

Wow. I believe with all my heart you and Jamie are following God's directive and that "blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." But I have a hard time sharing it with others. Your friend's explanation was beautifully written and timely indeed. Thank you for sharing it!

"The world was made for people, not the other way around." The articles I read were so concerned about the trees and there not being enough resources to support all of these people on earth (which is absolutely ridiculous, especially since they think the earth is millions or billions of years old, why haven't we run out of resources yet?) It is a bit odd to me though that a single woman would intentionally have that many children without a clear way to support them. I agree that children are a blessing and large families are wonderful, but I personally would wait until I was married to do so, but on the other hand, what she chooses to do is none of my business! She said she won't get on welfare; kudos to her! I do understand her obsession with babies and children though. :) I think it is a desire God gave all women, although some ignore it to pursue other things. Well, that is my 2 cents!
