I'm curious what you think about all the "Christians" who are throwing themselves behind Glenn Beck for his "get back to God" preaching. Why isn't anybody asking which god he's talking about?

Great point! Jesus (of the BIBLE) is the ONLY Way, THE Truth, & THE Life, & NO MAN comes to the Father but BY HIM. Problem is, too many that profess to be "Christians" don't possess the TRUTH!

So good to hear someone say this! I've been so disappointed by how many professing Christians are praising Glenn Beck's "Get Back to God" talks! He doesn't worship the same god! Any Mormon will say Jesus is his Savior. They're the Church of Jesus Christ for goodness' sake. That doesn't make them Christian. People who don't study God's Word are easily deceived.
I listen to Glenn for political reasons. I let the children watch him, too. I am very clear about the aberrant teachings of the Mormon church (and other cults) and so they are well versed on what to watch out for when he speaks. His call for a return to the God whom the Founders worshiped is correct. Sadly, he doesn't know that God yet. I am sure that many folks are witnessing to him and praying for him.
Phil. 1:15-17 may apply in this situation. Glenn does not KNOW the Lord, but he invokes Him nonetheless. The Word doesn't go out void, even from the mouth of a cultist. Perhaps some will hear Glenn speak of God and seek out the true God of the Gospel. If (when?) some of those who are seeking find instead the LDS church, if they have a true love of the Lord, He will lead them out and to the truth. Those honestly seeking the Lord will find Him...He will not hide from them. "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Phil. 1:6
I should add that I am very thankful that Glenn Beck is open about his Mormonism. He could be thought to be an evangelical Christian should he have chosen to hide it. That's the very dangerous part of Mormonism. They hide the false meanings of their doctrine by using the words of the Bible.

I don't get it. What's wrong w/ Glenn Beck?
