This was one of the pictures we got of Maya prior to her adoption:
They referred to Maya as a junior nanny at the orphanage. No wonder why.

When we told the kids we were expecting another baby, you would have thought that we were doing it just for the kids. They were all so excited about the news. But Maya. . . Well, Maya was a different story. She was absolutely beside herself.
I look forward to many beautiful grandchildren from my beautiful Maya.

When I was sick on the plane ride home from Liberia/getting stuck in Senegal...Maya is the one who was taking care of the baby I was escorting... She was such a blessing.
:) she brought a smile to my face. :)
Is that girl ever *not* smiling? She's such a beautiful, and talented, blessing!
We adopted a little biracial baby 19 years ago and we called her Maya! She really loves kids, she's a natural with them...she's very musical and very athletic..there isn't a sport that she isn't good at...Maya is not a girly girl...she doesn't like spending time on her hair and never wears make-up...but she also has a smile that goes on forever! We also are looking forward to grandbabies from Maya (after she gets married of course!)
